My research began with the desire to reconnect people with the natural world, restoring the sense of well-being that comes from feeling an integral part of Nature.<\/div>\n

Alamar Life was born from a conviction developed through more than thirty years of working with moving images.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The quality of an experience is shaped not only by the beauty of a landscape, but also by the visual language through which that landscape is expressed. The observation of Nature, combined with extensive experience in directing and designing audiovisual installations, gave rise to a line of research exploring the relationship between imagery, perception and well-being.<\/p>\n

From this research, the Alamar Life Method was born.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An audiovisual language designed to support the relationship with Nature without overshadowing it. Images, natural soundscapes and narrative rhythm do not constantly demand the viewer\u2019s attention, but instead encourage a more natural, continuous and contemplative way of observing.<\/p>\n

Over the years, this vision has been strengthened through experimentation, practical applications and ongoing dialogue with professionals from a wide range of fields, including medicine, psychology, culture, communication and public institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What evidently happened is that Cristina, in the ‘contemplative mediation’ produced by the observation of the film and its editing, spontaneously entered into the perception of her fluid body, in contact with the internal tides. Is there a relationship between (attentive and meditative viewing of something that activates the subcortical areas) and the perception of the tides? Obviously yes, even though we practitioners consider the hands (touch, proprioception) and the heart as vehicles of listening, Cristina’s experience tells us that the eyes, under certain conditions, can also ‘take us in’.<\/p> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Cristina Fino began her professional career in Florence in 1982, where she trained as a director at one of Italy’s first multivision studios.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In 1987, she founded a communication agency in Turin specializing in the design of audiovisual events and installations, developing projects over the years for public institutions, museums and companies.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Her professional journey has spanned documentary filmmaking, audiovisual production and the storytelling of places, with a particular focus on the relationship between images, emotion and perception.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Through documentaries, installations and multimedia projects, Cristina Fino explored the potential of audiovisual language to create experiences that engage people not only through narrative, but also through their sensory and emotional dimensions.<\/p>\n
