ALZHEIMER’S: the Validation method and The Imagined Tale, storytelling set in nature.
Alamar Life and the Validation method together to grow and test new possible therapeutic ways for the frail elderly.
On Saturday, 9 November 2019, a supervision day for caregivers and group leaders certified in the Validation® method was held in Vimercate, by Cinzia Siviero, AGAPE AVO Authorised Validation Organisation Manager.
The refresher day proposed a new opportunity for conducting groups, using Experience Nature videos as a narrative cue both for conducting the classic group – whose work is based on a single image – and using the storytelling techniques of The Imagined Tale.
Using the methodology of The Imagined Tale, the creation of a story is inspired and developed through different scenarios that constitute the stages of the journey and feed the narrative. The natural environments serve as both inspiration and support for the story.

Paola Buelli and Stefano Pellicioli, professional dementia social educators certified in the Validation method and in the Experience Nature and The Imagined Tale methodology. To them we owe the intuition of applying the empathic Validation approach to the creative storytelling techniques of The Imagined Tale.
